Agreements and collaborations

In 2011, Biocat forged four collaboration agreements with international organizations: the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB); Danish entrepreneurial school KaosPilot, under the framework of the Moebio training initiative; the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio), in order to foster relations between Catalan and American companies and organizations; and Gesaworld Group, to carry out joint activities related to training, professional exchanges, consultancy studies and research projects.

Additionally, the agreement to set up the European Diagnostic Clusters Alliance (EDCA) was signed along with seven European partners: Euromediag (Languedoc-Roussillon and Provence-Alps-Cote d’Azur, France), Wal-Dx (Wallonia, Belgium), LifeScience Klaster Krakow (Poland), Nexxus Scotland (Scotland, United Kingdom), Oxfordshire Biotech Network (Oxford, United Kingdom), Uppsala Bio (Sweden) and ZMDB/BioTOP (Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany).

A complete list is available in the Agreements and collaborations section of the Biocat website.
